Hello! My name is Wendy and I am the owner of Diaper Cakes by Wendy (I know - not the most creative name I could have come up with!) I am a stay at home Mom of two wonderful children; a six year old little boy and a two year old baby girl. I first got this idea when I received a diaper cake at my own baby shower. Being a Mom of two, I know what products to use and what not to use, I know what works, and I know to create these items in a safe environment (smoke free, clean, baby friendly). Are you wondering just what a diaper cake is? Well, it is not edible, that's for sure! It is a "cake" made out of diapers. Some people add baby items, wrap them in blankets, add ribbons, etc.. I like to keep my cakes simple, and in doing this, my cakes have a lot more diapers than you will find on more other cakes. I use Luvs diapers in a size 1 (fits 8-14 pounds) and every diaper used in my creations is 100% usable.
