About Me
My name is Wendy and I am a 24 year old stay at home Mommy of two wonderful children, Bruce, who is 6, and Brooke-Lynn, who is 2. They are the reason I do everything I do and I love being able to stay home with them while also having the opportunity to make other people's lives brighter, even if it is just one day at the baby shower!
I started making diaper cakes for friends a couple of years ago, when I got one at my own baby shower. I thought it was a very neat idea and started experimenting with it. Then I thought of trying to sell them! I did not sell a single one but I did not give up. I tried different ways of making them, and different ways of decorating them. Finally I made one listing for three tiered cakes customized to your needs. I sold a couple and got excited! So as I sold them, I added new pictures and people finally started looking!
Every once in a while I get requests for items I don't make, so every time that happens I add the new item to my store, which is why it has grown so large today, from only 2 items a few months ago to over 20 now! I am happy to keep making new things, so if you don't see what you want, just ask!
As for my baby shower favors, I saw washcloth lollipops online somewhere and thought they looked neat! So I started looking all around and realized there were very few people who do them and I went out and got supplies and made mine a bit different than everyone else, adding a pom pom on the front of each one. When I started, nobody else did this. Now the internet is flooded with them, and many sellers make them just like I do, but I AM the original of this variety, so buy with confidence that you are getting the VERY best product possible, not something thrown together in a hurry with Dollar Store items.
My work is very consistent and every item I make comes out looking perfect. I am a perfectionist so if it doesn't come out just right I start over!
